DAVID SASSOLI ACADEMY IN SANTO STEFANO - VENTOTENE

February 30th, 2022

Studio Dorell arrived first in the architectural competition for the conversion of former panopticon prison on Italian island Santo Stefano - Ventotene to be turned into 'academy' for Europe's future leaders, artist residency and museum. The jury led by the Italian architect Mario Cucinella gave the highest score to the project proposed by our team (B+G, Dorell, Fabre/Speller, B5, SBarch, P+T, Zevi, FBC, Voumes, etc.) 

 

PALAIS DES ARTS ET DE LA CULTURE DE NICE

January 10th, 2022

Studio Dorell is shorlisted in the architectural competition "Reconversion du Palais des Expositions de Nice en Palais des Arts et de la Culture".

The City of Nice is converting the city center exhibition hall site into a new cultural building complex. 

Architects Dorell, Fabre and Speller have been shortlisted for the development of the project including a major theatre and a concert hall. 

MASSENA TOWER, obtained building permit in Paris 75013

April 22nd, 2021

Designed between 2014 and 2016 by Dorell.Ghotmeh.Tane / DGT and winner of the city mayor competition Reinventer-Paris  the 4200 square-meter building is designed as a mixed use building with residential floors and food and art laboratories on the lower part of the building.

Former ‘Massena Station’ forms part of an iconic urban metamorphosis of ‘Grand Paris’. Réalimenter Masséna becomes en adaptable space for exhibitions, conferences, and concerts.  The project development is led by Lina Ghotmeh for Hertel.

DENFERT FACADE BUILDINGS , shortlisted in the major Paris city competition

The City of Paris, together with P&MA, are converting the « Les Grands Voisins » site in Saint Vincent de Paul 75014 into a sustainable mixed use project built according to the ambitions signed in Paris Climat Agreement of 2015. 

Architects Dorell, Dream and Lagneau have been shortlisted for the development of the 3 main buildings project in the facade of the area. 

Our finalist proposal is composed of 2 existing ancient buildings to refurbish and a one new building to construct for a total of 12.000m2, integrating 6000m2 of housing and 4000m2 of Art School focused on climat change and migratory issues.

MOCA, Museum of Contemporary Art is inaugurated

July 10th, 2020

MOCA, Hirosaki’s new contemporary art museum designed by Dorell.Ghotmeh.Tane / DGT was officially inaugurated.

Designed in 2016 and completed in July 2020, the 3079 square-meter building is designed as an adaptable space for exhibitions, conferences, and concerts, and blends into the surrounding agricultural landscape. 

The project construction was led by Tsuyoshi Tane and Project manager Haruki Nakayama.

STONE GARDEN BUILDING, construction completed

July 10th, 2019

Construction is completed for the Stone Garden residential building designed by Dorell.Ghotmeh.Tane / DGT .

Designed in 2011 and completed in July 2019, the 6314 square-meter building is designed in the ground floor as an adaptable space for exhibitions of the FEK Foundation, and residential appartements on all the other floors. 

The construction was led by Lina Ghotmeh and Batimat Architects .

QUAI HENRI IV H24 CENTER, is the winner of the city architecture competition

February 10th, 2019

Dorell Architects proposal was the winner of the second edition of Réinventer Paris competition on the 75004 site of Quai Henri IV.

The 3000 square-meter conversion of a former Seine river side tunnel is designed as an adaptable space for exhibitions, and services for the new 7km city center greenway.

ESTONIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM, obtained the highest state recognition 

February 8th, 2018

Designed and constructed between 2005 and 2016 by Dorell.Ghotmeh.Tane / DGT the 36.000 square-meter building was inaugurated and opened to public in october 2016.

Following major international awards in France, Germany, spain and Italy, the project and his architects have received from the Republic of Estonia the highest cultural recognition.
